Rumour: SEGA apparently has a 2.5D Sonic game in the works for 2027

An X post is currently doing the rounds which claims that a Playground Games source has said that SEGA is currently hard at work on a 2.5D Sonic the Hedgehog game. The 2.5 platformer, which is seemingly being developed internally at SEGA, is apparently planned as a 2027 release. This is just a rumou
